Console wars!!!!

So I figured I would Add my two cents, you know, now that  just about everyone has already talked about it. I Must say that I am a big fan of Gaming,  Its a great pastime, second only to reading. I (sadly) have not had the opportunity to own any of the current  systems (PS3, Wii, Wii U, XBOX360) Although my Wife and I are saving up to buy a Wii U, (we are saving our change, so it might take awhile)
a really expensive Rhombohedral
VCR..I mean XBOX one
Tons of FUN... Otherwise known as the Wii U

But the big Problem is I simply cannot understand why Sony Fans and Microsoft (XBOX)  fan feel the need to fight about each other. its almost as if they feel threatened by each others existence. the funniest thing is, that they will even Go as far as to "like"  what they hate, just  so they can post hating comments on posts that come up from that company/ Product (on facebook). But  I do not think that  they actually even  read the post or look at the pictures,  their comments  rarely have anything to do with the post, or picture, and in rare cases are just completely uncalled for. The funny part is when they try to act professional and that they know everything.
but deep down we know that they are just a bunch of angry little boys
So I want to take a look and  evaluate  each of the systems see they what they have to offer. lets start with the  Playstation 4
Sony's next Gen system got a name-ber upgrade
so lets take a look at the specs shall we?(note I am only touching up on a few, what I determine to be important specs, they will all be judged on the same specs)

  • $399.00 price tag: Possibly the best news, especially after the PS3  release fiasco I would call that A good move
  • Storage tank: 500GB hard disk drive, user removable: I am going to make a rhetorical guess here and  say that means if you want more storage  you can swap it out for a bigger (or smaller) HDD,
  • Mass: 2.8kg: part of my does not want to add this in because its not like you are required to carry the system around with you when you play it, you set it down on a flat surface, plug it in and play but hey I guess it might help separate the consoles up more
  • Graphics: really great, so I am not going to even try and pretend I understand  all the terms and names of all the hardware that goes into making the  graphics work. I have seen the screenshots and they look awesome, and thats all that really matters
  • Controllers: Still wireless: I would also like to give some extra points to a nice design,  its not too much but yet at the same time its not too simple either which is what I like the most.
 gets the job done!
because one comes after 360,  or they are pretty late in the game to be starting this: lets make the systems numerically in order.
  • $499.99 Price tag: so one hundred dollars more than the PS4, not terrible, but does not really win you the Affordable Console award.
  • Storage Tank: 500 GB: I could not read anywhere  that you could switch this up, but I imagine that You can and honestly, 500 GB is enough storage if you fill this up, you need to  prioritize your life, because, you probably haven't even done it in the first place if all you are doing is playing video games.
  • Mass: 3.18 kg: So it does not  really win the lightest console award either but I copy my statement from the PS4  that it pretty much sits on the shelf/ground/ or wherever you have it so the weight should be of NO CONCERN
  • Graphics: really great!: I honestly cannot tell the difference,  superb graphics, if there is someone out there that can tell the difference, thats either amazing and/or you spend too much time playing, and need a new hobby

for example: build yourself something simple out of toothpicks, like this
  • Controller: Still Wireless:  I must say this controller feels more like a downgrade than an up grade. I am trying not to be biased in any fashion, but  I have played  xbox, 360, playstation 1,2,3, nintendo...pretty much all of them, and the xbox controller has always been my favorite. but the longer I take a look at this new controller, the less I like it. take a look.
lets just assume this is the front

I do not know what it is, but its a big turn off for me It just looks so flat I  question its ability to be comfortable.
  and the U stands for?.....
So this is more of a shoutout to the Wii U, because when comes to going head-to-head with  playstation or xbox, its not a fair game, but I would like to say this: kudos  When they went and made the Wii for the first time those many years ago they  became Pioneers. they created something special and something new, and the coolest part yet, they got the Big dogs to  hunker down  and and fear they  supposed  inferior console.
thats right be afraid, be very afraid
Here is the deal, The big guys did not really even register nintendo as competition, until the Wii came out, and all of a sudden they were scrambling to  make their own motion  interactive software, because that was the next big thing, I will have to admit this though, all this leave nintendo in a tight spot, and that is the question: What Next?   they have put themselves on this pedestal of greatness, that went even higher with the release of the Wii U, but where do you go from there?  you cannot just go back to  controller gaming.. that would be a big let down... they  can work on their graphics a bit, which already with the Wii U are a HUGE  improvement. Just recently i was over at a family friend and they have recently purchased the new need for speed game for their Wii U. and it had very nice graphics, maybe some minor shading problems but overall amazing. but  as a whole, there is really not a lot left that it can do.
Although I wouldn't mind them bringing back the nintendo 64, that would be cool.
Well getting back on topic though, we arrive at the big issue, and that is( drum roll) There is little to  absolutely no difference  between the PS4 and xbox one!!!!!!!!!!!!! ( excitement!!!)   they have pretty much the same capabilities so you cannot say that one is better than the other. The only  big difference which for many people is the exclusives  the games that  come out only for that individual system (i.e Halo, Final Fantasy, Legend of Zelda) But you must know that this is STILL no reason to think that the other systems are stupid or that they suck. really? just because they do not have your favorite game?  I want you to think about that one  and give me one good reason why that is logical. I believe it stems from  the need to be loyal to brands, but honestly,  if you think about it, they ( sony, microsoft, nintendo) do not really care about our loyalty,  just our money. But let's not boycott them or anything like that, Its okay to have a favorite console, but let's not hate up on the other consoles "just because"
They have not wronged you in any way,  they have not  burned your house down or  stolen your credit cards just let those who like  the other console enjoy them for themselves as you enjoy your choice of console.
For those that feel like they have to be loyal, don't be. Be adventurous. Try new systems, be nostalgic and buy a super nintendo here  or even a Sega Geneses  here those are some of my favorite classic systems. and you can find a bucket full of games that are fun to play on them.
Well when it comes to  which console won this  bout. it is without any doubt  the Playstation Four.  with special mentions to the Wii U. It is without a doubt that  Xbox one lost this round,  They simply made a bad move, and elected to but the wrong features on their new console, yes they did  turn around and reverse some of their desisions around but the big picture is that their first choice. It is the fact that they made that choice to restrict their players up more than a pig in a hog tying contest, and because of that they lost a huge portion of their fan base, and that is just something  they have to deal with.
OHH NOES!!!!!!

I almost forgot about PC,  or at least  you might think that, but  I didn't  include PC  gaming because the PC  just ISN'T a console...ITS A PC, so it loses by default here,  deal with it.
